The long-awaited sequel to the amazing book Divergent is NOW HERE@ THE LIB! Place your holds now, Insurgent is in!

The Divergent trilogy is for fans of the Hunger Games, fans of awesome books, and generally awesome people. So get to reading before there's a movie or a TV show! Here's a spoiler free  synopsis of book 2: "One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you…Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so." – from goodreads.com

Hunger Games Teaser

August 30th, 2011

Who saw it last night? Thoughts?

We're talking the incredibly short teaser clip for the Hunger Games (out March 23, 2012). A reason to watch (or suffer through, take your pick) the VMAs. Granted there was some fierce present, but here in the Teen Department we are still on the fence as to whether the movie will do the book justice. See it for yourself here.
