It's time for a graphic novel teaser, and what better one to start off with than that of the lovable slacker composed of awesome (that's right) none other than Scott Pilgrim.

Now this name might seem familiar to some of you who have yet to read the books (because you know you really should give Scott and his gang of friends/rockers/enemies etc. a chance) and that might be because you have seen this trailer for the Scott Pilgrim movie…

So now for the teaser-Scott is living the life on his friend's dime, unemployed and in a band. Everything is so-so, until he meets a mysterious delivery girl with hair like no another-Ramona Flowers. Of course Scott has to fall in luuuurve with Ramona, but only on the condition that he meets and defeats all 7 (count 'em boys) 7 of her EVIL EXES in some of the most epic/hilarious hybrids of video game kung-fu fistacuffs ever drawn on the page.

We have the first 5 books at the Library now for your holds list, but the 6th and FINAL book will be out July 20 and the movie August 13.  So in order to see Scott kick some evil exes start reading now.
