
Summer Reading Program
What is it?
The Manhattan-Elwood Public Library District's Summer Reading Program promotes literacy in our community and helps kids maintain their reading skills over the summer. This program is open to all ages, with separate categories for kids, teens, and adults. Sign up and record your reading from June 1 - July 31.

Summer fun for all ages
Details for each age group are below. Have more questions? Ask a friendly librarian at either of our library branches.

For every 4 books you read (eBooks and audiobooks count, too) you earn an entry into our grand prize raffle. All logs are due by August 9th.
Earn bonus raffle tickets by completing our monthly Bonus Bingo challenges.

For every book you read (eBooks and audiobooks count, too) you earn an entry into our grand prize raffle. All logs are due by August 9th.
Earn bonus raffle tickets by completing the bonus challenges on the back of the log sheet.

Fill in one picture on the log sheet when you read 20 minutes. Your goal is to read 5 days each week. Once you finish a week's reading, stop by either branch of the library for your raffle ticket.
To win extra prizes, bring your completed log to the library each week!
The final day to turn in logs will be August 9th.
