What is it?
The Manhattan-Elwood Public Library District’s Summer Reading Program promotes literacy in our community and helps kids maintain their reading skills over the summer. This program is open to all ages, with separate categories for kids, teens, and adults. Sign up and record your reading from June 8 – July 31.

Complete the form or visit us at either branch to sign up.
Summer fun for all ages
Details for each age group are below. Have more questions? Ask a friendly librarian at either of our library branches. All logs and forms due August 7th.
KIDS
Read 20 minutes a day at least five days a week to earn tickets for fun prizes! Stop by each week to get your ticket.
How to earn extra raffle tickets:
- Complete monthly bonus activities in your reading log
- New logs for each month
TEENS
Stop by the library for your challenge sheet! Earn raffle tickets for cool prizes and gift cards for each challenge you conquer.

- When you attend program
- Sign up for Teen Subscription Boxes
ADULTS
How to earn extra raffle tickets:
- Complete the Bingo sheet
- Every three books checked out at once
