Do something nice for someone just because. Then tell about your Random Act of Kindness at the library for a celebratory dinner on Friday, November 15th
Some examples of a RAOK include:
- giving your mom flowers and/or a hug
- donating used books to the library
- volunteering your time to help out organizations such as an animal shelter, the library, or a soup kitchen
-helping someone with their yard work
-visiting a nursing home and reading to a senior
-reading to a child
-planting a tree
-making a card for a soldier to thank them for all they do for our country
-donating items to a homeless shelter…
Or think of one or two of your own, complete it before Nov. 15th @ 5 pm., and discuss it with us at the party!
Get into the Holiday spirit of giving thanks by creating a special craft today, Friday, November 8th at 4 pm. For Kindergarten through 5th graders who would like to make a card to show their caring and appreciation for our brave Troops.
