Make a Difference-How to help our pollinator garden

Make a difference. How to support our pollinator garden

Make a difference in your community!

Each year, we host an April Plant Sale at the Manhattan Branch, and we’re getting ready for another great season. To make it happen, we’re looking for donations of items we can sell in April. All proceeds from the sale will go toward expanding our native pollinator garden, helping us create more habitat for bees, butterflies, and other essential species. You can drop off donations at: Manhattan Branch 240 Whitson St., Manhattan, IL 60442 during open hours

What to Donate

We’re gratefully accepting:
    • Houseplants
    • Houseplant clippings
    • Pots and small vases
    • Gardening décor or tools
These items will be sold at our April Plant Sale, and every contribution, big or small, helps us grow a healthier, more vibrant garden space.

Why Pollinators Matter

Pollinators are vital to the health of our gardens and local ecosystems. By supporting the plant sale, you’re helping us expand our native pollinator garden with more plants, better habitat, and a welcoming environment for bees, butterflies, and other species that keep our community blooming. Your support truly makes a difference.
