Welcome Summer Camp Families!
We are pleased to welcome Camp Coyote and Camp Chipmunk campers to the library this summer.
Here is how camp visits work:
- Campers will visit the library each Thursday morning
- Campers are allowed to check out a book during each visit
- Campers must have their physical library card or have filled out the form below
- Books are due in two weeks and may be returned during a camp visit or to any book drop
- Please take a moment to review your child’s library account before they visit and return any outstanding materials
This summer we will also host a reading challenge for campers. If the group can read for 20 minutes for at least 30 days during summer camp they will earn a popsicle party from the library! Make sure they are ready to check out books so they can successfully complete the challenge!

If you don’t have a library card with us and live in Manhattan or Elwood, sign up for one at https://mpld.org/getacard. Anyone 3 and up may have their very own library card!
